Why This Site Exists
Picking the right software for a pet grooming business shouldn't feel like a guessing game. But for most groomers, it does. Vendor websites are full of marketing language. Capterra and G2 are noisy with paid placements. Reddit threads are scattered and outdated. And the few "review" sites that exist usually rank software based on which company pays them the most.
We built Grooming Software HQ to fix that. We're a small, independent team that researches pet grooming software the way it should be done — comparing features against what mobile and salon groomers actually need, surfacing the real differences between tools, and being honest when a product just isn't a good fit for someone.

Every piece of content on this site follows the same process:
- Research the product. We dig into official feature lists, pricing pages, demo videos, and documentation.
- Read real customer feedback. We pull insights from G2, Capterra, GetApp, Reddit, Facebook groups, and other communities where groomers actually talk.
- Compare apples to apples. Mobile-specific tools get compared to other mobile-specific tools. We don't pretend a salon-focused system is the right answer for a one-van mobile groomer.
- Stay current. Software changes fast. We revisit and update reviews regularly so you're not reading outdated information.
- Tell the truth. If a product has weaknesses, we say so — even when it pays a commission.
